Madeleine Dolan

Madeleine (Maddie) Dolan is a litigation associate in the Washington, DC office. She is a member of the Product Liability and Mass Torts litigation group and has an active pro bono criminal defense practice.

Maddie is a stand-up litigator, having first-chaired at a pro bono trial as a member of a team that secured their client’s acquittal on first-degree murder charges; she has also taken a deposition in a commercial litigation matter. She also has extensive experience drafting dispositive motions, leading document reviews, developing expert reports, and preparing for depositions and trial.

Prior to joining Covington, Maddie served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Mark R. Hornak of the Western District of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, PA. She also previously worked as a consultant and strategic communications director, managing marketing campaigns for federal government agencies.
